Today we’re sharing another newborn “mini” photo session in Melissa’s Wake Forest photo studio. This cute baby girl is named Love! Such a unique and fitting name for her, as she is so very loved by her sweet parents! She was a precious little angel for her Raleigh newborn photo session. She looked so beautiful in all the pinks, purples, and creams!

This baby girl’s mama followed all of Melissa’s tips to get baby Love sleepy before her photo session, and she also came with a belly full of milk. So baby Love slept peacefully while Melissa worked through a lot of different props and sleepy poses. We managed to get so much variety in this one-hour mini portrait session! She looked adorable in the bucket, the wooden bowl, and in the little nakey poses on the blanket! Gorgeous baby Emma was eleven days old for her first photo session! Her session was a Raleigh newborn mini session, which is roughly 90 minutes of photographing the baby in a few different poses and usually one prop shot. These sessions give us time for a little bit of variety, and can be customized to exactly what you want! If you’re looking for family or sibling photos, you’ll need a Full session, as these minis only give us time to focus on the baby alone. I got to meet handsome little Oliver in my Wake Forest baby photo studio back in October. He came in for his newborn mini session when he was just eight days old. He was a precious little peanut! And we also worked in a baseball and some little baseball bats with baby Oliver as well. There was a lot of cuteness happening! 🙂 Baby Oliver gave a lot of precious smiles too! Oh what a sweet baby boy I have to share on my blog today! This is Logan, and I was so thrilled to be taking his Wake Forest newborn portraits. Little Logan was just eight days old when I met him for his first portraits. I was so happy that his Mom and Dad hired me to capture Logan at this tiny little stage. It goes by so fast, and they grow and change so quickly! It’s so important to capture them when they’re this tiny so you never forget how delicate and small they were. Mr. Logan was chill and cooperative, and I really loved cuddling him. His mom and dad requested a shot with their hands in for a portrait, and it turned out beautifully. This adorable newborn is cute baby Sloane! She came in for her Raleigh Durham newborn photographer session when she was 3 weeks old. She was absolute perfection! Her parents purchased my newborn mini session package, and we worked through quite a few setups and poses in our 90 minutes together. Sloane is an absolute beauty, and she looked stunning on every setup I did with her. Sloane’s mommy requested purple, so I did plenty of that, along with some neutrals. She is so precious and tiny and perfect! With the perfect little fluff of hair, and soft baby skin. I really enjoyed her!

Cute little baby Lila came to see me for her Raleigh Durham newborn photography session when she was two weeks old. This photo session was one of my newborn mini sessions, and for this one we opted for a variety of poses on a blanket. Lila was so perfect and let me work through a wrapped shot, froggy pose, taco pose, as well as a variation of the taco pose that I adore! I also got lots of cute close-ups of little Lila. She was super comfortable and relaxed during her Raleigh newborn photo session. I was so happy to meet her and celebrate her arrival into the world!

The next session I have to share today is with little Cecilia. Her mommy is another Raleigh maternity and baby photographer, and so I was of course very honored that she chose me to photograph her own sweet baby! It says a lot when other photographers choose you to capture their own families and the special moments in their lives. I was really thrilled!

This newborn photo session was one of my mini sessions, which is one hour in length. And Cecilia’s parents decided that instead of my traditional mini session with baby photos only, they wanted just family photos during our one-hour together. So we did this session filled with just family and sibling shots.

Cecilia was so precious, with the most amazing cheeks! And she had such a proud big brother who was so sweet and patient with her. This family really adores baby Cecilia, and I’m thrilled to have witnessed it and been able to capture this sweet stage in their lives.
