This sweet little baby is handsome Gavin! I loved my Wake Forest newborn photo session with him! I used my newest little prop with baby Gavin – the wooden curved bench. I just love how this prop is shining for my last several sessions. I have a feeling this one is going to be a favorite amongst my clients! I like that I can switch up the colors and styling, and it works for both baby boys and girls. Gavin looked SO cute in his little green pants on the bench.

This next little guy is the very adorable baby Kauis, who had his Raleigh newborn photography session done when he was 17 days young! Kaius was an absolute angel for his session. Super sleepy, and posed so perfectly for me! The very first setup I did with him was of him in the bucket, and it was my favorite of the session. He was sound asleep when he arrived and it worked perfectly. He looked so good in the blues and creams that I put him in… I mean, I’m just dying over this cuteness! He was perfect – from that glorious head of hair to his perfect teeny little toes. This session was probably one of my favorites of all of 2021. He was so amazing!

And because I’ve had a lot of questions lately about COVID precautions, I’d love to fill you in on what I do in my studio to keep babies and their families safe from COVID. I’m fully vaccinated and boosted and take the health of my tiny clients seriously. In between each session, my studio gets fully sanitized. My props are disinfected, my camera and work area are cleaned, as is the seating area where parents hang out during sessions. The first thing I do before touching a baby is to sanitize my hands, and I do it frequently throughout each session. I also wear a mask to protect my tiny clients from germs. Oh what a beautiful baby I have to share with you all today! I’m so glad this little girl’s parents chose me to be their Chapel Hill baby photographer. Baby Cali (isn’t that a sweet name?!) was eleven days new for her photography debut. Her big sister was also a newborn that I photographed about two years ago in my Wake Forest studio. I was so happy to see this gorgeous family again. They make the most beautiful baby girls! I don’t think there’s any arguing with that!

Baby Cali’s family opted for my Full Newborn Session so we could get a large variety of poses and setups during their newborn photo session. We also included sibling and family photos, which were absolutely priceless!

Today I have a beautiful baby girl and her family to share with you on my Durham newborn photographer blog! This is sweet Olivia at a tiny little 11 days old. I loved my time with her in my newborn photo studio! She’s a gorgeous baby, with great long eyelashes and beautiful thick hair! Olivia’s big brother and parents also participated in the session, which I always love! They’re only this little once, and someday you’ll look back on these days and be so glad you got in some photos. It truly doesn’t matter what you look like, how tired you feel, how big the bags under your eyes are… your babies will want these memories! They love you no matter what you looked like that day. Precious little nine-day-old baby boy Carter came to see me for his Raleigh baby photos a few months ago! He was a total delight, and his newborn photo session was just perfection. His parents are just so sweet, and were beyond happy to be new parents to little Carter! Carter had a perfect head of hair. And his lips and cute chin – oh my, the greatest!

And Carter was such a smiley little baby! I couldn’t believe all the great smirks he kept flashing me. The photo below where he smiled while his parents were holding him… it just might be one of my favorite family photos ever! I mean, how cute is he!?! And then the smile while he’s snuggling the little bear. Aaaaah he’s so sweet!

This Raleigh baby session was my Original newborn session, with 2 to 3 hours of shooting and lots of variety with setups and poses. It’s the package for when you want it all, and want to remember every tiny detail of your baby at this stage! Carter was so sleepy and cooperative that his gallery of photos had 59 photos, plus additional black and white versions. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites for this blog post, so you’ll just have to be tortured (as if!) with all of this cuteness!

Oh what a gorgeous family I’m sharing today! They came into my Wake Forest newborn photo studio a few months ago, and I was so excited to have them! This is a family blessed with four adorable, strong and smart girls! The older girls were so loving and caring for their baby sister. They posed and cooperated so perfectly for their family portraits.

This family chose my Original newborn session for their baby portraits. So we did sibling photos, family photos, and also lots of cute photos of baby Kaia by herself. Kaia is sooooo beautiful! Gorgeous creamy skin, perfect little lips, cute fluffy hair… the list goes on! I enjoyed posing her so much, and loved getting to know this family. Now they have beautiful Raleigh newborn portraits of Kaia to remember her at this stage forever.

Precious baby Nolan came to see me when he was a tiny nine days new! I photographed his older brother a few years back, and I was so happy that his family hired me to photograph their second addition. As the top Wake Forest newborn photographer, I’m always really pleased that families come back to me again and again. It’s an honor, and I love getting to see these sweet families grow!

Nolan had the most perfect head of dark brown hair. His parents are absolutely gorgeous, so it’s no wonder he is as cute as he is! Baby Nolan was wide awake with his bright eyes for a good stretch, and I was able to capture some super adorable shots with his eyes open. The photo in the tiny baby jeans where he’s staring at me is one of my favorites! And Nolan’s mommy requested some shots with my tiny grey bunny stuffy, which we used in Nolan’s older brother’s newborn session. So it was sentimental and special for the family. I really enjoyed having this family back to my Wake Forest newborn studio, and I hope they’ll have a third baby so I can see them for another round! 🙂

Sweet little Lakelyn was 10 days old for her Wake Forest baby photographer session. She is an absolutely stunning newborn! Perfectly round cheeks, gorgeous skin and precious little baby wrinkles! Her parents were just recently on my blog with their maternity session (click to view!).

For Lakelyn’s newborn portraits, they selected my Original Newborn Session, which is the full newborn experience. This is my standard newborn session where we get a wide variety of poses and setups. These are typically 2.5-3 hours of working with baby to get everything the parents wanted and more! I pulled out a precious baby outfit from one of my favorite vendors, Mia Joy Studios. It had the loveliest flower and lace details, and looked stunning on Lakelyn for her Raleigh baby photo session. Lakelyn’s mommy requested purples and pinks for the session, so you’ll see that I worked in quite a bit of both colors. And we did the treasured ring and toes shot with Lakelyn, too! One of my favorite and most requested photos!

Raleigh Baby Photography | Baby Luna

Baby girl Luna was such a delight! She came in for her Raleigh baby photography session when she was just nine days old. As you’ll see from the photos below of her newborn session, her parents requested lots of yellow, and some pinks too. So I delivered with both! I had the most beautiful yellow blanket that I hadn’t put to use in ages, so I was happy to get to use it. And I really truly love the color yellow – I have so many hats and wraps and baby headbands in yellow. I was happy to use them all! Baby Luna looked so beautiful in yellow and she was such a gorgeous baby with great cheeks.

I’d recently bought some gorgeous new outfits for baby girls, and I had fun dressing Luna up in a few of them. They had the most beautiful details on them, and fit baby Luna perfectly.
