I was so excited to see little Joshua again for his one year portraits. He previously graced my blog as a newborn, here. We met out at a super fun location where his Mommy had maternity photos done back when she was pregnant with Josh. Today my oldest son, Dylan, turns five. It’s a bittersweet day for me. I love this little man SO MUCH, and it hurts my heart that he’s growing up. He’s so sweet and sensitive, and by far the funniest kid I know! I’m so impressed by him and proud of him. I love him more than life itself! Happy birthday, Dylan!

The Paris Family | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

The Paris family came out a few weeks ago for my annual mini sessions. Jennifer is a photographer herself, and it was seriously the ULTIMATE compliment that she asked me to take her family photos. She has the most well-behaved kids — honestly!!! Little Rylee knew just how to follow instructions, and even burst out with some Fresh Beat Band moves for me. She also gave me a stamp after the session to say thank you — jeez, melt my heart! And little Tyler… well, he’s grown like a weed since I met him as a newborn! Had fun seeing you again, Paris family!! 🙂

The ‘S’ Kids | Raleigh and Wake Forest Child Photographer

Sorry it’s been so quiet around here lately! My family and I made the big move into our new home a couple of weeks ago. AND, we got picked to film an episode of House Hunters for HGTV! Talk about a whirlwind month this has been. We had so much fun with the first round of filming, and they’ll be back next week to finish up. Our house is coming together and we’re getting pretty organized and settled in. My NEW STUDIO space is completely amazing, and I have a few little things to finish up before it’s ‘ready’! I’ll be sure to post pics when I have everything finished!

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing three ‘big’ kids — which is rare for me! And wow, what a great time we had. These kids are gorgeous and clearly enjoy each other’s company! Here’s a few of my favorites from their session!

I first met Greta when she was a tiny little infant, and I was so delighted when her Mommy asked me to take her one-year photos! She is SO incredibly adorable and sweet! And she sure loves her Mama! 🙂
