I hope everyone is staying cool and having a great start to summer! As is typical for me during the summer months, I’ve only accepted a very small amount of bookings because I have all three of my crazy baby boys home with me for the next three months. So my working hours are very limited! Instead I’m focusing on my little ones right now and making memories with them. So things may be a bit quiet here and on my Facebook photography page. Today I want to share with you the very adorable baby Amelia and her sweet family! Her big brother and sister are just the CUTEST and are so adoring and precious with her! We did some really sweet outdoor newborn setups, which are always some of my favorite baby shots to do during the warmer months here in Raleigh. Amelia was just so stunning and perfect and I loved having her family come in to see me!

Amy’s Maternity Session | RALEIGH DURHAM MATERNITY AND NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

Today I am sharing some photos from Amy and Justin’s beautiful spring maternity photo session in Raleigh, NC. Baby Sawyer | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Meet sweet little baby Sawyer. One of my all-time favorite baby names! Sawyer came into my Raleigh, North Carolina newborn studio at 12 days old for his portraits. He was such a smiley, cute little guy! His parents are from Louisiana and are living here for just a short time for work, and I’m so glad I got to meet them before they move back. And sweet Grandma came along – I always love chatting with new Grandmas who are totally smitten with their grandbabies! Sawyer’s Mommy requested some green for her session, so as you’ll see I used green (one of my favorite colors), as well as a classic shade of blue which always looks good on baby boys. There were just too many great photos from Sawyer’s newborn session to narrow down, so here are lots for you all to ooh and aaah over!! 🙂

Gavin | RALEIGH BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Sweet little Gavin has turned one already!! I first met Gavin and his sweet family at his newborn session, and then all too soon we were doing his six month baby session. And now this! He’s graduating my first year plan. I hate when babies go and do that to me!!!! I miss them! Gavin is SUCH a sweet little boy… such a great, happy little personality. It has been such a pleasure and complete honor to capture some memories from his first year. The big news for this family is that they’re adding another baby boy this summer, yay! Baby Emerson | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I have a precious baby boy named Emerson to share with you all! I met newborn baby Emerson when he was just a tiny 13 days old. And he was such a sweet little man! I adored him! He posed so perfectly for me in my Raleigh Wake Forest newborn photography studio. He let me do just about every pose with him on the beanbag and blankets. And I also absolutely love the prop shot I did with him too. I think it’ll be going up in my newborn studio really soon because I love it just that much! Baby John | NORTH CAROLINA BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Another handsome baby boy came to see me at my newborn studio! I love both genders equally, I promise! It’s just that baby boys hold a special place in my heart because I have three boys myself. Of course, then there’s also something I love about baby girl sessions too — all the cute little headbands and girly colors. I swear I don’t have a preference either way, but I just always seem to be raving about baby boys!! 🙂 Sweet little John (aka Jack, as his Mommy will be calling him) was a sweet little peanut, and came to see me at 12 days old. He has the cutest little face, and posed so sweetly for me. We did a red, white and blue setup for his daddy, who is deployed in the Navy right now. He was luckily able to facetime for the birth, so he got to watch his little guy be born, but hasn’t met him quite yet! So a lot of these pictures were taken for daddy in mind! Baby Grant | RALEIGH NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

I just realized it’s been weeks since I’ve posted on the blog! I get so busy between shooting, editing, e-mailing, working on client orders, sharing on Facebook, Instagram, etc. etc. that before I know it, my blog has been neglected and I’m way behind! Note to self — hire someone to blog for me!! 🙂 Well, today I’m sharing a beautiful baby boy!! Newborn Grant was 12 days old for his session, and is such a handsome little man. His parents also brought in big sister for their Raleigh newborn photo session, and she was an absolute delight. I really love sibling shots, and I’m so happy with what we captured for Grant’s family. I’m sure he has already changed a lot since his newborn session, and I’m glad I got to snuggle him and get to know him at this tiny little age!

Baby Elizabeth | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NC BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Today I have a 3-month photo session to share! Elizabeth Grace came in for her 3-month studio portrait session as part of my Baby’s First Year package. Her parents opted for newborn, 3 month and 6 month photos because they’ll be moving away from Raleigh shortly. I’m sure you’ll remember her adorable Raleigh newborn session, but if not, click the link and go see her as an itty bitty newborn. She’s changed a lot in the last three months, and her hair is still amazing. It’s gotten a bit redder, and a bit longer, and it’s soooo precious and perfect! I only put one hat on her the whole session because I didn’t want to cover it up. She is a sweet, happy baby, and cooperated well for all of her outfit changes and different setups we put her through. I can’t wait to see her again soon for her 6-month session!!

Baby Ruby | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

I was so excited to meet baby girl Ruby for her Raleigh newborn session! I photographed her older brother Eli a few years ago and of course was thrilled that they chose me to create more art for their home and to capture these memories for them. And baby Ruby was so gorgeous. I enjoyed snuggling her in my studio and getting to know her cute little personality! And her Mommy likes purple, which excited me. I love pulling out purple from my prop stash…. I have tons!!! I always style my sessions around my client’s color choices, and love to make sure everything is cohesive and flows together nicely for those who order albums with all of their portraits. Honestly, besides snuggling the babies, the styling of my sessions is one of my favorite things about this job. I love details, I love color, and I love things to be perfect!!! Type A? Who ME?!?! 🙂 Okay, back to sweet baby Ruby. Here’s a peek at her baby session in my Raleigh studio!

Baby Matthew | RALEIGH NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I have a really adorable baby boy to share with you all today!! Baby Matthew was my last newborn session of 2015, and shooting his Raleigh newborn session was a great way to close out the year! It was completely a year where baby girls were the majority for me. Then all of a sudden the tide changed in Raleigh at the end of the year and the baby boys made their comeback! This handsome little one came to the studio with his adoring and very sweet big brother, Jason. He was so wonderful with his new baby brother, so caring and kind. It was so adorable to see them together. And baby Matthew… what a doll he is! With his perfect little nose and lips and his cute little baby mo-hawk!! Just about the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen!! He was 12 days old when I got to meet him, which is the perfect age for a Raleigh newborn session with me!
