Little Benjamin is part of my Baby’s First Year Plan, and I was so excited to see him at six months old! What a change from his newborn session!!! He’s sitting up and looking SO cute doing it! He was quite a good sport for his session – he put up with all our props and outfit changes, and was such a little sweetheart. Can’t wait to see him again at one year old!

Baby Lillian | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

It seems as though the busy fall rush has come on in full force!! There are lots of great newborn, Baby’s First Year, and maternity sessions happening, and I can’t wait to share them all with you! This sweet little girl is miss Lillian. She is soooooo incredibly adorable. You may remember her parents from their maternity session that was on the blog back in August. They welcomed this sweet little girl in September, and I got to meet her when she was 9 days old. I wanted to keep her. 🙂 Here is the beautiful little Lillian!

Baby Emma | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Meet the gorgeous baby Emma, just 7 days old! She’s a peaceful little newborn, and did so very well for me during her session. Her Mommy and Daddy say she’s a really good sleeper and a wonderful baby for them, and I could tell!! They just adore her and I can tell they’re great parents! Had such a fun time spending a morning with them! 🙂

Baby Evelyn | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

This is the gorgeous 6-day-old Evelyn. She reminded me a lot of my first-born in that she wanted to eat and be snuggled up with her mama constantly. My oldest was a frequent eater and was rarely happy unless he was eating and snuggled to me. A blessing and a curse all at the same time. 🙂 So we took quite a few feeding breaks for baby Evelyn, just to keep her happy. And while she was awake a lot, she did take a few good naps so I could curl her right up. I know these are images her family is going to treasure for generations! Enjoy the lovely Evelyn!

I met the handsome little baby James when he was just FOUR days old!! It’s a little younger than I normally photograph newborns, but the timing worked for all of us, and James was such a sweet little angel! Mom and Dad even jumped in for a photo with James too, and they’re such a gorgeous family! I know they’re enjoying this little man and spoiling him like crazy! Baby Max | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Wow, what great weather we’re having here in NC this week! This is making for some fabulous outdoor sessions, and making me HAPPY!

Today I’m sharing, or rather over-sharing, some photos from my newborn session with Baby Max. He was born several weeks early, and he came in for his session at three weeks old. It’s a bit older than I normally like babies to be for their newborn sessions, but it was still before his due date and he was a precious little peanut. He slept great and gave me a ton of smiles – my favorite! He’s the little brother to Garrett – who was last seen on the blog for his one-year session. During Max’s newborn session, we did a lot of fun set-ups! Here are a bunch for you all to see. Check out the first photo – my first ever wink from a newborn. Could not believe it!!!!! 🙂

Baby McKenna | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

To make up for neglecting my blog the past couple of weeks, I’ve got a big share for you today. Baby McKenna came to my Wake Forest studio at 10 days old for her newborn portraits. She is such a stunning baby. She looked good in EVERYTHING! So we did a little bit of everything. Reds, pink, yellow, cream…. she was a gorgeous little model. Such a sweet, perfect little baby. I loved meeting her and her Mommy and Daddy!

Baby Eden | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

This sweet little baby, Eden, came to me at just six days old for her session. I met her Daddy when we filmed HGTV’s House Hunters. He was the cameraman and such a great guy. My kids think he’s REALLY cool because he let them hold his big camera a few times. 🙂 They were SUPER jealous that I got to see him for Eden’s newborn session. And I was so excited that he came to me for her first portraits. She was so cute and tiny, and did magnificently for her photos. Here’s a little sample of them — don’t you just love the little lips and toes? Those are my favorite!!

Baylor | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

This handsome little guy is Baylor, and he’s about to have his first birthday!! He happens to also be my nephew — you saw his newborn portraits here. It’s so hard to believe it’s been a year! He has the best personality – so sweet and easygoing. And that strawberry blonde hair is just to die for! He came to visit me a few weeks ago and we just had to give him a photo session to capture this last little bit of his baby phase. You’ll notice the pancakes on his shirt… there’s a story behind that. He’s having a first birthday breakfast party, so his Mommy wanted a photo of him in his pancake shirt to include on the birthday party invite. Isn’t that a cool idea? I just love this little guy and loved getting to photograph him again!!
