My Very Own | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

From time to time I like to share some photos of my own children on this blog. I love them more than life itself, and they sure keep my life interesting! I took them out recently for a little photo shoot at a local park – it had been too long since I’d gotten photos of them. My oldest, Dylan, is getting better at cooperating for photos. Unfortunately my two-year-old, Chase, is getting worse! It takes some bribery for him to cooperate!

In these next two photos, we were at a park with a closed road – it worked out perfect for these shots!

Tyler & Taylor | Raleigh Durham Child Photographer

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of meeting high school seniors Taylor and Tyler on Tybee Island in Georgia. I was in town with some girlfriends for our annual photography get-together. Taylor and Tyler were kind enough to come model for us. I don’t typically shoot high school seniors, but these two were a blast and it was a special treat for me. We had some fun – and Tyler’s custom made belt buckle stole the show!

Cate & Lucy | RALEIGH DURHAM BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I first met twin sisters Cate and Lucy one year ago in Savannah, just after they were born. I had so much fun meeting their big family, and I was excited to see them again now that they’ve turned ONE! They are such sweet and adorable little girls. We photographed them inside of the house where I stayed in Savannah – I love the brick and wish I could photograph there all the time!!

Little Grady | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

I met sweet little Grady at just five days old. He was a complete angel and let us do just about anything we wanted to him… as long as he had a little snack every now and then! He’s a laid back little guy and I hope he stays that way for his Mommy!

Baby Lucy | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

Little Lucy was born on New Year’s Day. And to me, there is something really neat and special about that. I think she’s destined for greatness! We held her session when she was six days old. She’s a sweet little girl and she has two adoring big brothers!

Baby Ethan | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

Adorable little Ethan was 10 days old for his session. I met him on New Year’s Eve – a lovely day for a newborn session! He has the best head of hair I’ve ever seen on a baby, which makes the photographs all the more better! He was a delight – thanks for spending New Year’s Eve with me, little man! 🙂

2011 Year In Review | Raleigh Durham Newborn and Maternity Photographer

Wow, what an amazing year 2011 was for me! I met so many amazing people and had a blast photographing everything from marriages to babies to kids and families. I sincerely thank each and every one of you who touched my life this year and helped me to grow my business. Connor and Owen | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

Earlier this month I photographed these darling little twins – Connor and Owen – at just eight days old. They’re the tiniest little babies I’ve photographed. Owen was a teeny four pounds at the time of the session and Connor was just five. They’re absolutely precious and I’m so incredibly happy for their parents. These two are just a blessing from above. I absolutely adore their photos, and they’re made even more special because family members hand knitted several of the blankets we used!
