This handsome little guy is Baylor, and he’s about to have his first birthday!! He happens to also be my nephew — you saw his newborn portraits here. It’s so hard to believe it’s been a year! He has the best personality – so sweet and easygoing. And that strawberry blonde hair is just to die for! He came to visit me a few weeks ago and we just had to give him a photo session to capture this last little bit of his baby phase. You’ll notice the pancakes on his shirt… there’s a story behind that. He’s having a first birthday breakfast party, so his Mommy wanted a photo of him in his pancake shirt to include on the birthday party invite. Isn’t that a cool idea? I just love this little guy and loved getting to photograph him again!!

What a complete delight it was for me to have baby girl Shawn in my studio! She came in at 17 days old and was such a sweet little girl. Shawn’s beautiful Mommy was on the blog back in May for her maternity session. It was fun to see her again, and to finally meet little Shawn! I was also lucky enough to meet Shawn’s grandma. It’s always a blessing to see so many loved ones adoring a new baby! Shawn, thanks for being so good for me, you’re beautiful! 🙂

These little twins are six months old! I first met Wesley and Harrison when they were itty bitty newborns, and their cute little selves came back to see me halfway through their first year for some updated portraits of their new talent – sitting up! Today I wanted to share a beautiful baby boy with you all. Baby Mason was born at the end of May. You may remember his parent’s maternity session on the blog last month. Mason was born with a FULL head of hair — definitely the most hair I’ve ever seen on a newborn. And it’s gorgeous! It was almost a shame to cover it with hats. He was a sweet little man, and there were lots of cute photos for his parents to choose from!

Baby Evan | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I haven’t had a chance to blog in nearly two weeks – that may be a new record for me. The beginning of summer has brought on a rush of sessions. Add to that my two boys being out of school for the summer and several family trips, and you have ME going a little crazy. 🙂

I’m excited to be able to share sweet baby Evan with you all today. He was so tiny at just five days old for his first photo session. His Daddy is a fireman, so he brought along his gear for a really special photo, which I just loved. He was a perfect little poser too – it was a fabulous session!

Baby Macallen | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

This is sweet little Macallen at just seven days new. His Mommy and Daddy met me a few months ago for their maternity portraits – which you’ll have to check out if you missed. Macallen was sooooo cute and tiny. He was a great baby for his session, even cooperating for a few military-themed photos for his parents. I just love him in front of that flag backdrop with his Daddy’s hat!
