Newborn Baby ‘D’

I headed to Wake Forest to take newborn photos of Baby ‘D’ when she was just five days old. She’s so calm and easygoing. Sure hope she stays that way for her Mommy!

The first two are my favorites…

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing these sweet little boys in Raleigh this past weekend. I’ve known this family for a while, and I was honored that they asked me to do their family pictures!

We had such a good time and the evening light was fantastic. Jacob is two and did a great job smiling for me once I learned the secret code for smile – “show your teeth!” Little Tyler is just four months old and he seemed like he’d rather nap than look at the camera. In fact, he fell right asleep while I was trying to take his picture. Oh, the life of a baby!

Big Sister, Little Brother

This weekend I had some fun photographing the “H” family in Wake Forest, NC. Lillian became a big sister just eight weeks ago when little Henry was born. He was such a great little boy and the two of them seem to get along so well. They’re a fabulous family!

Hunter

Meet Hunter. He’s 9 months old and has the most amazing eyes! I just can’t get over how beautiful they are. He’s SO photogenic. He and his family were such a pleasure to photograph. We did the session at the Children’s Garden in Columbia. What a unique little place!

Lilly J.

You all may remember Lilly from my post a few days back. I took some photos of her right after she was born. But this was her “real” newborn shoot. She is such a gorgeous baby… and fiesty! She squirmed the entire time I tried to take her photos and wouldn’t sleep for more than a minute at a time no matter what we tried. Fortunately I managed to snap a few good shots. I hope I did her beauty justice!!

Fun With My Boys!

I had a session with the G’s this past weekend at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest. It had been a while since I’d been there and I’d forgotten how beautiful it was! So I put my boys in their matching outfits and took them out there for a fun morning. Dylan had so much fun running around and swinging on the benches. He managed to be still for a couple of photos, much to my surprise!

The "G" Family

The G’s are such an awesome family. Ashley’s 2.5 years old and baby Emma’s just one month. They’re adorable and we had so much fun at our shoot! Ashley was a complete ham and loved the camera. Thanks for the fun, guys!

Precious Little Lilly

My newest niece, Lilly, was born Tuesday morning. I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph her when she was less than an hour old. She’s precious and beautiful.
