The "D" Family
This is the “D” Family from South Carolina. This family is veeery special to me, and you may just notice some similarities to me – it’s my sister! I had so much fun taking pictures with her, despite it being almost 100 degrees outside. We thought the “country” theme fit them best, and I love how they rocked their cowboy boots and how we incorporated their truck into the session!
The ‘P’ Twins
I had the pleasure of taking family photos for this wonderful family recently, which included adorable twin boys. They were so much fun to photograph. Mr. ‘P’ had all sorts of fun ideas for pictures at the Art Museum in Raleigh. I told him he should come along with me to every session!
Thanks for the fun, ‘P’ family! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
The ‘S’ Family
This is the ‘S’ family. They have three adorable little boys – the youngest, baby ‘L’, is just five weeks old. You’d think their house would be crazy with three boys – but everyone’s so well behaved and their house was so clean!! I’m not sure how they do it!
I enjoyed meeting and photographing you, ‘S’ family! Thanks for letting me capture your sweet children. Enjoy your sneak peek!
The ‘O’ Twins
These are the ‘O’ twins. They’re just one year old and have bubbly little personalities! Little girl ‘R’ just recently learned to walk and she wanted to explore everything during our session. They had so much fun just running around taking everything in. They sure make their Mama work hard chasing after them! ‘O’ Family, I had so much fun meeting you. Here’s the sneak peek of your photos!
Paige Walker Center
My next few months are really busy, so before the craziness starts, I wanted to take a few minutes to show some pictures from a fabulous location in Cary, NC. The Paige Walker Arts and History Center was built as a hotel back in 1868 and is now on the National Register for Historic Places. It’s a great location for portraits. The hotel is gorgeous and there is a small area beside it with a fountain, an open grassy field and flowers. There are also railroad tracks right next to it – one of my favorite places for photos. There isn’t a huge amount of shade, so it’s best to visit in the mornings or evenings for ideal lighting. Consider your next portrait session here!
Outer Banks
Well, you know I can’t take a beach vacation without taking a LOT of pictures. Some of you have probably viewed my pictures on Facebook and other places already, but I also really want to share with everyone else.
It was my baby’s first time at the beach. He spent a lot of time examining the sand… and eating some too.
Those of you who have been to the Outer Banks have surely heard of the wild horses that often roam the beaches in Corolla. Fortunately, we saw them. What a gorgeous, gorgeous sight!
The sand dunes at Jockey’s Ridge State Park are amazing and a great spot for photos. We went and watched the sunset. BEAUTIFUL!
Here’s my hubby and I atop a sand dune.
This next one I pulled over on the side of the road to get out and take the picture. There were tons of interesting farms and things along the way. If I’d have stopped as often as I wanted, I’d have never made it home.
