Tate celebrated his third birthday in June and his Mom called me to take his birthday pictures.  They are SUCH fabulous people and I could tell right away that they’re a super fun family.  We went for an urban look for their photos, which I think was a great decision!  I love all of their photos and I didn’t envy their decision to have to choose which ones to hang!

A big thanks to Tate for letting us drag him around in the heat!  🙂

Greyson & Victoria

I hope you’re all ready for some major cuteness!  Greyson and Victoria (Tori) are two of the sweetest kids I’ve photographed.  We met up at one of my favorite places for pictures in Raleigh, so I was very excited!  They came looking so adorable (check out the dress with the octopus on Tori!!) and we had a lot of fun exploring the park.  Thanks for the great time guys!

 

I think this last one is my favorite.  She’s soooo adorable and perfect!

Koen

Koen was the winner of my Cutest Kids Contest this year.  What an absolute delight he was – I’ve never seen such a happy 9-month old!  I swear there was not a tear shed the entire session.  He sat and smiled as much as I wanted him to.  His parents sure are blessed to have such a sweet and adorable little boy.  I was so happy to have met them!!

Waiting Patiently | Raleigh Maternity Photographer

Meet Lindsay.  She’s very near and dear to my heart.  Some even say she looks like me.  🙂

Lindsay is expecting baby number two and we got together to surprise her hubby with some photos for Father’s Day.  Don’t worry, chances are slim to none he will see my blog before then!  I think it’s an amazing and unforgettable Father’s Day gift.  I think we captured some beautiful images – Lindsay is just glowing and gorgeous.  Expect to see adorable newborn baby photos all over the blog this fall, I can’t wait!

This little cutie is gonna be a fabulous big brother!!

Jenni & Matt

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Jenni and Matt’s wedding with Kate from Little Light Photography.  We had a great time with this couple and their wedding was beautiful.  I was so in love with their color choices – royal blue and green.  They were fantastic!

Baby Greta

Baby Greta is such a sweet baby.  She is so peaceful and easygoing – I barely heard a cry out of her the entire session.  It’s always amazing to me to see brand new parents – carefully changing diapers, documenting feeding times, holding the baby so gently and sweetly, and doting on every noise and movement.  I’m totally in awe of it and I remember it with my son like it was yesterday.  What a beautiful, wonderful time in these parent’s lives.  They are enjoying every second of it, just like they should be.  Jess and Andy – thank you for allowing me to capture this precious time in Greta’s life!

Family Beach Portraits!

Wow, what a treat this session was for me!  The “L” family and I had been in touch for quite a few months planning their family portrait session.  Ultimately, they decided on a session at the beach. and I’m so happy they did!  This session was so much fun – there was lots of running around, laughing, splashing, and enjoying the beautiful weather and location.  I went home soaking wet… and loved it.  🙂
