Your baby’s first days of life are a time when the rest of the world fades from view and all you can see is your love for your new child. It’s an opportunity to develop bonds with them that will last a lifetime, even though these days of infancy will be over in the blink of an eye. As a newborn photographer, I have the privilege of preserving the memories of these days for countless families in the form of custom newborn portraits.

All of my newborn sessions are tailored to your family and your baby. Designed to highlight your child’s beauty and the love of your family, these sessions can be customized to fit the vision you already have, or I can take my artistry and run with it, hand-designing a one-of-a-kind session for you.

What to Expect from Your Newborn Photography Experience

Every parent would agree that as exciting and awe-striking as the first days of your baby’s life are, they’re also utterly exhausting. Don’t worry – newborn photos won’t be one more source of stress to add to your plate, at least not if you work with me. I’ve designed my client experience to be purely joyful, simple, and easy. My studio already has an expansive inventory of everything we’ll need for your shoot: wraps and fabrics, accessories, props, and more. All you need to do is show up with your baby and perhaps a pacifier and relax while I take care of the rest!

The Process:

There are no guessing games when you book with Melissa DeVoe Photography. Here’s a peek into my process:

1: Consultation – We’ll chat via email about your session, your tastes, and your dreams for your baby’s first portraits. I’ll use those details to design a custom session for you.
2: Photo Session – I’ll welcome you into my comfortable studio and put my session design and my expertise in baby posing to work, creating the newborn photos you’ll fall in love with.
3: Photo Selection – One to two weeks after your session, I’ll send you the gallery of all your incredible portraits! You can make your selections based on the package you choose, whether you want digital images, specialized prints, products, or both.
