Didn’t I mention I’ve had a lot of baby girls in the studio lately? Well, next up on the blog is another sweet little girl – Miss Molly! She was nine days old for her session, and was just the cutest! She had the squishiest cheeks, I could just nibble on them! 🙂 She was perfect and precious in every way. Such a sweet baby girl. I’m excited to share this stunning baby girl with you all today. This is Neya and she was 10 days old for her newborn session, which is the perfect age! She is such a special little one. I adore her parents, and I’m so excited to see them enjoying and adoring baby Neya so much. I’m sure you’ll all notice the fabulous head of hair Neya was born with. It’s gorgeous, as is she! Happy September everyone (cannot believe the summer has ended!). I have another tiny baby girl to share with you all! I’m on quite the streak of baby girls, so just be prepared for nothing but newborn girls on the blog here for a WHILE! Not that I’m complaining. 😉 This little one is named Scarlett (such a gorgeous name) and she has an awesome and cute big sister, as well as two very sweet, adoring parents. This sweet little baby girl is Cameron, who was 16 days old for her session. I love this adorable family, and big brother Cole was part of my Baby’s First Year package last year. I’m excited that I’ll get to see Cameron more this year too, and I’m always so honored and thrilled when families choose me to capture the first year for both of their babies. It’s so exciting and fulfilling for me! I can’t wait to see Cam at her 6-month session and see how much she’s changed. This handsome little guy is baby Camden, and he was 14 days old when I got to snuggle him during his portrait session in my Wake Forest studio. I’ve had so many baby girls this year, so I was excited to pull out some blue for this cute little man. He’s pretty perfect, from his amazing eyelashes down to his sweet little toes. My favorites are usually always the close-ups, and that was definitely the case this session too. I mean…. those cute little lips and lashes! Ah! I love them! Here he is, precious little Camden!

I have a sweet little 8-day-old baby girl to share with you today! Little Vivienne was such a little doll. And one of my favorite things about summer babies is that we get to go outdoors! I have a really amazing field right across the street that gets a lot of use. 🙂 Outdoor newborn shots are one of my favorite things that I offer. So, anytime the weather’s warm and you want to go outdoors during your newborn session, I’m game! Vivienne gave me lots of adorable sleepy expressions and I absolutely adore all of her portraits! This handsome little guy is baby Will! He came into my Wake Forest studio at three weeks old for his newborn session. He was born a little early, which is why we waited until he was three weeks old for his session. He was a sleepy, tiny little thing. And so perfect! He’s doing my Baby’s First Year photo session package, just like his big brother Connor did. So I’m excited to get to see him again at 6 months and one year old. I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I’m taking a little bit of a break starting in a few weeks, and I hope to spend some time with my kids before they go back to school. And get caught up on all of my blogging (blogging = constantly behind!).
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting baby Violet when she was just 13 days old. I absolutely love the name Violet — my first time photographing a Violet. I see a lot of similar names, but this one’s a new one. I love it! Violet was so sweet and cooperative for her first photo session. She slept great and posed great, and she’s absolutely beautiful. She has two big sisters who requested a purple set-up to go with her name, which I love. 🙂 Here are some photos of Violet. Enjoy!

I have a sweet baby boy to share with you all today! This is handsome little Holden, who I got to meet for his first portraits at just 10 days old. He has such a sweet family too, and it was SUCH a pleasure to meet them and get to know them at their session. We did a good variety of setups for Holden, and he slept great and was just as cute as can be. Holden’s gallery of images ended up being REALLY large. My galleries are typically about 100 photos in color and black and white, but this one ended up being closer to 150 because Holden was extra cooperative letting me play. And of course I had a hard time narrowing down what to show on my blog here! So here are some of my favorites from Holden’s newborn baby session in my Wake Forest studio.

Wow, what a hot start to the summer we’re having here in Raleigh! I hope everyone is staying cool indoors as much as possible!
I’ve been shooting a LOT this month (which is my excuse for my blog being quiet the past couple of weeks). Most of you know I had a baby last July, and I scaled back my shooting for a while so I could spend more time being present with him and with my older two boys. Now that his first year is coming to an end (still slightly in denial though, really!), I’ve been taking on more sessions and things have been really busy around here. If you want to stay up to date with all of my “sneak peeks” of my newborn sessions, be sure to follow me on Facebook! But here on my blog is where I post more in-depth looks at all of my sessions. And while I do fall behind, I make it a point to get every session blogged eventually so you can see more of what a newborn session is like with me!
The session I want to share with you today is baby Charlotte’s newborn session. She came to see me in my Wake Forest studio back in April at three weeks old. Her nursery at home was decorated in purple and yellow — her mommy wanted to do something a little different than pink. So that’s where the color inspiration came from for this session. And I love the purple and yellow together – so girly and pretty! Here’s baby Charlotte, so beautiful and perfect!
