Earlier this month I photographed these darling little twins – Connor and Owen – at just eight days old. They’re the tiniest little babies I’ve photographed. Owen was a teeny four pounds at the time of the session and Connor was just five. They’re absolutely precious and I’m so incredibly happy for their parents. These two are just a blessing from above. I absolutely adore their photos, and they’re made even more special because family members hand knitted several of the blankets we used!

Baby Grace | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

Beautiful little Grace was just eleven days old for her session. I love her name and I love how nicely she fits into her family of four. She has an adoring big brother and two special parents.

This last one warms my heart and makes me smile — the family’s feet! 🙂

Baby Joshua | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

Last month I had the pleasure of meeting sweet little Joshua when he was just 10 days old. He was one of the models at the newborn workshop I attended in Durham with Keri Meyers. He couldn’t have been more perfect for us – he was our little holiday model and ended up with all of our cute Christmas set-ups. I loooove how they turned out!!

I’ve had a few other newborn sessions this past month that I’m behind on blogging. I’m hoping to get caught up on them soon!!

In Action! | Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

I have to share this image that my friend Kathy snapped of me last weekend. I had a twin newborn session and she was gracious enough to come along and be my extra set of hands — I didn’t want to be outnumbered by the babies! Here I am soothing the babies into a pose. And in case you’re wondering, my iPhone has a white noise app and was helping me get them to sleep!

Baby Cash | Raleigh Newborn Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting sweet little Cash when he was just nine days old. I was fortunate enough to attend a newborn workshop with the amazing Keri Meyers, and Cash was one of our little models. I learned a TON from Keri and I’m so excited to share the amazing photos I took that day! Keri is so full of knowledge when it comes to posing little newborns and I left the workshop with a lot of new tricks up my sleeve. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting sweet little Avery and her family at their gorgeous home. She has one of the most beautiful nurseries I’ve ever seen. We had a great time and Avery is just stunning!

Baby Greta

Baby Greta is such a sweet baby. She is so peaceful and easygoing – I barely heard a cry out of her the entire session. It’s always amazing to me to see brand new parents – carefully changing diapers, documenting feeding times, holding the baby so gently and sweetly, and doting on every noise and movement. I’m totally in awe of it and I remember it with my son like it was yesterday. What a beautiful, wonderful time in these parent’s lives. They are enjoying every second of it, just like they should be. Jess and Andy – thank you for allowing me to capture this precious time in Greta’s life!
