Printing Your Portraits | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NEWBORN AND BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I wanted to share some information on the importance of printing your portraits from a recommended photo lab. Below is a side by side comparison of different print labs. You can easily see that the professional printing lab most closely matches the original (top) image and can therefore be hung in your home and viewed as it was intended by the photographer. The “cheap” labs don’t even come close. In fact, the Kodak Easyshare photo on the bottom right sorta makes me shudder. It’s awful. The colors are bad in all of them, the shadows are bad. Just all around BAD.

For my clients who have purchased digital files from me – I highly, highly recommend printing those files through a site called mpix.com. Their lab is extremely close to professional quality. Otherwise, you’re not doing your portraits any justice! Thanks for listening! 🙂

I was so, so excited to see the GORGEOUS little Harper again. I first met her parents for their maternity photos, then I had the pleasure of taking Harper’s very first portraits, which are GORGEOUS if you ask me. 🙂 And now she’s six months old with a cute little personality and learning to sit up on her own! Ethan | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST CHILD AND BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Ethan is a popular name this year — this is my second Ethan in the last month! 🙂 This adorable little guy was five months old for his photo session. He was the sweetest, happiest little guy, which I’m sure had to do with how nice and down to earth his parents are! We got some lovely family photos and some individual pics of Ethan. And I think we captured his sweet little personality pretty well!

Beautiful little Arden is the daughter of a dear friend and fellow photographer, Emilee. I was so, so, so delighted when Emilee asked me to capture Arden at 16 weeks old — exactly one year from the day she found out she was pregnant. A very special day for them, and a special day for ME to have them in my studio. Arden is an extraordinary little angel and I could stare at her photos for DAYS! Love her so much!

We met out at a super fun location where his Mommy had maternity photos done back when she was pregnant with Josh.
