Wake Forest and Raleigh Baby Photographer | Baby Owen

Tiny little Owen came in for his newborn session when he was about a month old. He was born six weeks early and had a brief NICU stay, so we had to wait until he was discharged and well enough to come and see me! But it was worth the wait! His big sister, Charlotte, who I also photographed as a baby, came along for the session too. I love the photos that she participated in with baby Owen, and she was just the perfect little model for me! The photo where Charlotte is looking at Owen, and Owen grins – my fave!! Made my heart melt! It was such a pleasure to see this family again! I loved meeting baby Owen, and his photos are gorgeous!

Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer | Baby Lucas

Another baby Lucas! I love the name Lucas, and I can tell it’s popular because this might have been my third Lucas for 2019. One of the perks of being in the business of newborn photography is staying in the know with the trends for baby names! 🙂 I think Lucas and Emma might have been my top two for 2019!

Little Lucas comes from an Army family, just like I do! I’m an army brat, so I love welcoming families who have served in the military just like my father did. I have a few little Army themed props, like a super cute baby hat (as you’ll see below) that got put to good use with Lucas. His family was the sweetest, and his big sister was SO cute! Check out her curls (swooning!). Mom and Dad brought along their army boots for a full-on Army setup, as requested by Mom! It was really cute!

Baby Lucas was absolutely adorable at 8 days old in my Wake Forest studio. I loved his tiny little toes and perfect little face, which of course I photographed excessively. I love capturing all the teeny little details of each baby. He was a joy to photograph. Here is a look at some of my favorite photos from his newborn session!

Wake Forest and Rolesville Newborn Photography | Baby Charlie

I’m back with another beautiful baby girl! My blog has been on the back burner lately after a whirlwind Christmas, New Year’s, snow storms, photo sessions, kid’s sports ramping back up, and general life stuff. I’ve been shooting a ton and have so many beautiful newborns that need to be in the spotlight here on the blog.

I loved having the opportunity to meet baby Charlie a few months ago. Her name is just about as cute as she is. I just love it! She had beautiful creamy skin, and just the right amount of chub to make her such a pretty baby! She came into my studio at nine days old, and was just so perfect to pose. Her parents were so excited and had that glow and awe that first time parents do. They adore her so much.

I loved my time with this family, and loved snuggling and posing baby Charlie. Here’s a little sample of what her session gallery looked like!

Newborn Photographer Raleigh NC | Baby Mia

I have a beautiful newborn baby girl to share on the blog today. This is little Mia… don’t you love her name? Mia’s parents opted for my newborn mini photo session, which is roughly one hour of shooting, and gives us plenty of time to capture everything precious and cute about a newborn. These shortened photo sessions permit us to capture about 15 or so photos, sometimes more depending on how sleepy and easy to pose the baby is. The minis give us time for baby’s photos only, so if you’re looking for family or sibling photos, you’ll have to upgrade to the full session. The minis are great for those on a budget too, or for those who enjoy digital files from their sessions, since these mini sessions include the digital files. Baby Mia was super sleepy and sweet for me. She looks like a precious little angel snuggled up in my tiny baby bed. I just love that bed photo! And of course the ones of her snuggling the pink bear are amongst my favorite too. She was just wonderful — her parents are so blessed with this beautiful baby! Wake Forest Newborn Baby Photographer | Baby Easton

I’ve had a long string of returning clients in the last few months, and I’ve loved it! So many people having a second or third baby, and bringing them in to see me. I LOVE seeing these families again, and seeing how much their older babies have grown and changed. And of course, it’s such a huge honor for me that they loved their first baby photo session so much that they’re choosing to come back to me at my Wake Forest newborn photo studio. Huge, HUGE honor that makes me so thrilled!

Newborn Easton is the second baby boy for this family (I wonder if they’ll have a third!!). Big brother is almost two, and it’s been since his newborn session that I’ve seen him. They’re both beautiful boys! This mom requested navy blue for their Wake Forest newborn photography session, so of course I had fun pulling out lots of navy. And I used my very highly requested heart-shaped bucket for this session, which turned out to be such a stunning setup. We did lots of cute sibling shots, adorable family photos, and took a lot of pictures of cute little Easton alone too. So much variety! Loved this session!

Raleigh Newborn Photographer | Baby Lucas

This little guy is handsome baby Lucas. His Mom was the teacher for one of my children this past year. So we were all very excited for Lucas to be born and to come see me in my newborn studio! And he did not disappoint. He is an absolutely precious baby boy. Lucas was just darling for his session. A beautiful head of hair, gorgeous soft newborn skin, nice and sleepy and bendy… what more could I ask for?!

We got some adorable family and sibling photos as well, as you’ll see below! Lucas has an adoring big sister, who was just so excited about having a baby join their family. It was so sweet. She held her baby brother so perfectly for her photos, and we got the whole family together for some shots that I think they’ll treasure in the future.

Lucas’s daddy is a policeman, so they brought along his hat for Lucas to pose with. I think those shots are absolutely stunning, and I know they’re so special to this family.

I was so happy that baby Lucas came to see me in my Raleigh newborn studio. I can’t wait to see him as he grows up and changes, as I’m sure his Mom will be bringing him into the school for visits from time to time! Here are all of my favorites!

Wake Forest and Raleigh Baby Photographer | Baby Mason

I hope everyone is having a great summer! I always take every July off work while my kids are home from school, and we experience as much as we can together. I’ve really been enjoying my vacation time with them. They’ve been growing up way too fast and I just want to soak them up while I can! I’ve been trying to sneak in some blogging during my break because I never seem to have time to catch up with it!

I have a handsome baby boy to share with everyone today, and you’re not gonna want to miss him! Cutie baby Mason came to see me when he was a teeny two weeks old. It was a joy working with him! His family wanted some outdoor shots as well as my usual indoor studio photos, and our North Carolina summer weather cooperated for us that morning. I just love how beautiful the family photos were with natural light! And Mason’s big brother showed up in the most amazing little suspenders and pants. This family was just off the charts with their cuteness!

Mason’s mom is a lover of newborn prop shots. So she opted for all of Mason’s photographs to be taken in my little beds, buckets and baskets. I adore using props in my newborn photography, so this was a fun session for me. He was an all-star sleeper, and did so well all curled up in my little buckets. He looked amazing on green, and I adore the photos of him snuggling the tiny baby bears! This was a great session!

Newborn and Baby Photography in Raleigh Durham NC | Dominique

Precious baby Dominique is next up for sharing on my blog! Dominique’s Mom selected my newborn mini photo session, which is one hour of posing and photographing, and includes a download of the digital files at a discounted rate from the full newborn session (for more details on pricing, visit Newborn Mini Photo Session Pricing). As you can see, we got SO many adorable photos of baby Dominique during our hour together. She was so sweet and smiley – my favorite for newborns! I loved all of the girly pink we used and I thought Dominique was just perfection on that color. Her sweet lips and perfect swirl of fuzzy hair… baby fever! It was a joy hosting her in my Raleigh Wake Forest newborn studio.

I’ve had so many adorable babies lately, and I can’t wait to get caught up on my blogging so I can share them all with you. I swear these babies that come see me are just little angels… I can’t believe how beautiful and perfect they are! One of my goals for summer is to work on my blogging here, so I hope to post ALL of their cuteness very soon!

Infant Photography Raleigh NC | Baby Harrison

After having a whole lot of baby girls in my Wake Forest newborn photography studio, I’m happy to say that there have finally been some baby boys being born!! 🙂 I ended up with three infant boys in a row, which was a record for 2018. There had just been SO MANY baby girls last year. Little Harrison came to my studio around Christmas time, so you’ll notice we did a couple of Christmas themed setups. Harrison has a beautiful big sister who was excited to get in the photos with baby Harrison, which I (of course) loved. Sibling and infant photos are just the best! They cuddled each other so perfectly, it was lovely to see!

RALEIGH NC BABY PHOTOGRAPHER | Baby Zoya

I hope everyone’s New Year is off to a great start! I had such a fabulous 2018, snuggling so many babies, and meeting so many great families. I can’t wait to see what 2019 will have in store for me!

Today’s featured baby from Melissa DeVoe Photography is little Zoya, who came in for her session when she was just 13 days old! She was such a unique newborn, with absolutely beautiful skin, and she was my first ever baby whose head was shaved after birth for religious purposes. I love meeting people from all different walks of life through this job!

We did some breathtaking family photos and sibling photos during Zoya’s session. Her two big brothers are so adoring, and her entire family is stunning! Zoya’s daddy wanted some bright, bold shots of baby Zoya, and he personally picked out the red blanket from my prop collection. I have every color you can imagine, so I love when the parents request specific colors or setups that they know they’ll love. And red isn’t a color I use very often with my newborn sessions, so it was nice to go against the norm and do something different. And wow, Zoya was absolutely precious on that red blanket snuggling the white pillow!!! Melted my heart.
