Oh sweet little Elizabeth Grace! I’ve had the honor of being her photographer for both her newborn photo session and 3-month photo session. And this time we met up for her 6-month portraits shortly before her family moved away. I will miss seeing them for their sessions! She is an absolutely stunning baby, as you can see! And we had a wonderful evening photo session with some gorgeous light at my favorite Raleigh location. Baby Bryce | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I had been really looking forward to meeting baby Bryce after doing his Mommy’s maternity photos a few months earlier. She was beautiful and it was a stunning Raleigh maternity photo session. The link is here in case you missed it! 🙂 I got to snuggle baby Bryce when he was eight days old, and he was a perfect little nugget. Mommy asked for blues and greys, so that’s what we did! And I love the result. Bryce was a gorgeous baby boy, with the perfect round cheeks and the right amount of squish! So happy this family chose me to capture these memories during such a special time in their lives. They have some beautiful Raleigh newborn portraits to pass down for generations!

Baby Virginia | RALEIGH NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Just a quick scheduling note — I’m currently booking newborn baby photo sessions for September 2016 and later. Please be sure to contact me as early as possible to ensure you get a spot in my fall schedule!

Today I’m sharing a precious newborn baby girl, little Virginia! It’s my first time photographing a baby named Virginia, and I really adore that name! Her mommy and daddy drove a long ways to come see me in my studio in Wake Forest, NC, which is always an honor. I’m so glad they chose me as their photographer and entrusted me to capture Virginia’s newborn portraits. Her mommy requested both green and purple for the session, so as you can see, we did plenty of both colors! We also got some amazing outdoor shots, despite it being an unusually cool spring morning. But what mommy wants, mommy gets! And baby Virginia cooperated perfectly outdoors so I could get the shot! Virginia’s mommy also brought along some very special quilts that are family heirlooms, so as you’ll also see we incorporated the quilts into the Raleigh newborn session too. So many great shots from Virginia’s gallery, it was hard to narrow down my favorites!

Baby Amelia | RALEIGH NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I hope everyone is staying cool and having a great start to summer! As is typical for me during the summer months, I’ve only accepted a very small amount of bookings because I have all three of my crazy baby boys home with me for the next three months. So my working hours are very limited! Instead I’m focusing on my little ones right now and making memories with them. So things may be a bit quiet here and on my Facebook photography page. Today I want to share with you the very adorable baby Amelia and her sweet family! Her big brother and sister are just the CUTEST and are so adoring and precious with her! We did some really sweet outdoor newborn setups, which are always some of my favorite baby shots to do during the warmer months here in Raleigh. Amelia was just so stunning and perfect and I loved having her family come in to see me!

Baby Sawyer | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Meet sweet little baby Sawyer. One of my all-time favorite baby names! Sawyer came into my Raleigh, North Carolina newborn studio at 12 days old for his portraits. He was such a smiley, cute little guy! His parents are from Louisiana and are living here for just a short time for work, and I’m so glad I got to meet them before they move back. And sweet Grandma came along – I always love chatting with new Grandmas who are totally smitten with their grandbabies! Sawyer’s Mommy requested some green for her session, so as you’ll see I used green (one of my favorite colors), as well as a classic shade of blue which always looks good on baby boys. There were just too many great photos from Sawyer’s newborn session to narrow down, so here are lots for you all to ooh and aaah over!! 🙂

Gavin | RALEIGH BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Sweet little Gavin has turned one already!! I first met Gavin and his sweet family at his newborn session, and then all too soon we were doing his six month baby session. And now this! He’s graduating my first year plan. I hate when babies go and do that to me!!!! I miss them! Gavin is SUCH a sweet little boy… such a great, happy little personality. It has been such a pleasure and complete honor to capture some memories from his first year. The big news for this family is that they’re adding another baby boy this summer, yay! Baby Alyna | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Next up on the blog is little Alyna! I’ve fallen behind on my blogging lately, but I’m trying to get all caught up. So many baby sessions from winter and spring that still need to be featured! Today I’m excited to share some of Alyna’s pictures from her Raleigh newborn session. She was 14 days old on the day of her session… so absolutely precious and cute. Perfect little hair and she looked good in everything. Her mommy asked for lots of mint, which is one of my favorite colors, so I was thrilled with that request! I had lots of fun meeting her wonderfully sweet parents, and so much fun cuddling Alyna. As always, I had way too many favorites, but here is just a peek at her newborn session!

Baby Emerson | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I have a precious baby boy named Emerson to share with you all! I met newborn baby Emerson when he was just a tiny 13 days old. And he was such a sweet little man! I adored him! He posed so perfectly for me in my Raleigh Wake Forest newborn photography studio. He let me do just about every pose with him on the beanbag and blankets. And I also absolutely love the prop shot I did with him too. I think it’ll be going up in my newborn studio really soon because I love it just that much! Baby John | NORTH CAROLINA BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Another handsome baby boy came to see me at my newborn studio! I love both genders equally, I promise! It’s just that baby boys hold a special place in my heart because I have three boys myself. Of course, then there’s also something I love about baby girl sessions too — all the cute little headbands and girly colors. I swear I don’t have a preference either way, but I just always seem to be raving about baby boys!! 🙂 Sweet little John (aka Jack, as his Mommy will be calling him) was a sweet little peanut, and came to see me at 12 days old. He has the cutest little face, and posed so sweetly for me. We did a red, white and blue setup for his daddy, who is deployed in the Navy right now. He was luckily able to facetime for the birth, so he got to watch his little guy be born, but hasn’t met him quite yet! So a lot of these pictures were taken for daddy in mind! I’m so happy I was able to capture his son for him! Here are some of my favorites from baby John’s Raleigh newborn session!

Baby Grant | RALEIGH NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

I just realized it’s been weeks since I’ve posted on the blog! I get so busy between shooting, editing, e-mailing, working on client orders, sharing on Facebook, Instagram, etc. etc. that before I know it, my blog has been neglected and I’m way behind! Note to self — hire someone to blog for me!! 🙂 Well, today I’m sharing a beautiful baby boy!! Newborn Grant was 12 days old for his session, and is such a handsome little man. His parents also brought in big sister for their Raleigh newborn photo session, and she was an absolute delight. I really love sibling shots, and I’m so happy with what we captured for Grant’s family. I’m sure he has already changed a lot since his newborn session, and I’m glad I got to snuggle him and get to know him at this tiny little age!
