Little Landon was born into one of the sweetest families. His big sister was part of my Baby’s First Year package last year, and now he’ll be a part of it this year! I’m excited to see him and his big sister, Maylin, grow up over the next year! Baby Landon is a perfect combination of his parents! He made it into my studio at 10 days old and was just as perfect as can be. We had a fabulous session – he was nice and sleepy and he even gave me a few little smiles!

Shannon | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

Last month I met an adorable couple – Shannon and her husband Whitt. They’re expecting their first baby in June and chose to document their pregnancy through the Mommy & Me package! We had amazing weather the night of their session. Our beautiful North Carolina sun was shining bright! They’re both just as cute as can be together, and we had a great time. I have to say they are a completely stunning couple!

Alexander | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I hope everyone is having a great week! May has turned out to be incredibly busy for me from all angles – completely booked with sessions, and my boys have tons of school activities this month to kick off the summer. I can barely remember what day it is! 🙂 I am almost booked up for the summer – I have one spot left in June, two openings in July, and one in August. So please, book fast! I get so many people who contact me after their due date asking for a newborn session, and I hate turning people away at that point.

I’m excited to show you all how much little Alexander has changed since his newborn session back in July! He is so adorable, and cooperative! And I finally got to meet his Daddy since he had to miss the newborn session. Of course we got lots of family shots for them, and plenty of shots of Alexander sitting up and getting ready to walk (soon!!) at nine months old! Here are a few!

Sydney | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

This sweet family came to me last month for little Sydney’s one year portraits. I last saw Sydney at her newborn session, and WOW, has she gotten so big!!! We primarily met to get some adorable new photos of Sydney since she just had her first birthday. But we also fit in plenty of family shots too! I just love how they came out!

Another sweet newborn to share with you today! Baby Connor was nine days new on the day of his session. He’s such a handsome, cute little guy! A perfect angel for his session. I think my favorites were the ones of his sweet little eyelashes and teeny tiny toes! He’s just too perfect!

Baby Hanna | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Wow, what a busy few months this has turned out to be for this little business of mine! I just finished up five sessions last week, and have another three this week. I swear there is a serious baby boom in Raleigh in 2013! I try to share each and every session on the blog so families can share their posts with friends and family. And next up in my queue is Hanna, who was born back in early March. I met her on day 13 of her life. She is completely gorgeous!! Her Mommy requested lots of pink, which was pretty easy to deliver! Here’s a few of sweet little Hanna!

Charlotte | RALEIGH DURHAM NEWBORN AND BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I have a bit of a scheduling update for those planning to book a session. My month of April has gotten so over-loaded with sessions – which is good! But I just realized that I’m also over-booked for May already. So, I won’t be taking on any other sessions for the month of May. My first available openings are in June, and I only have a few slots left. So book soon if you’re due this summer or fall – I’m filling up! I’ll also be cutting back on the number of ‘Older Baby’ (3 months to one year) sessions I take each month so I can allow room for more maternity and newborn sessions in my schedule, which is what I specialize in and what I love. So, going forward, I’ll only be doing maternity and newborns, with the exception of the clients already booked, and those who purchase a Baby’s First Year package. If I happen to have extra space, I’ll fit in older baby sessions here and there, but it probably won’t happen often.

Now that THAT’s out of the way, let’s focus on pretty Charlotte!!! Sweet little Charlotte just turned one and her family met me out for her one-year portraits. And I happily got some updated family photos for them as well. Such a sweet, happy family. They’re moving to Asheville this month, and I’m a little jealous because I love Asheville! 🙂

Tracee | RALEIGH DURHAM MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

I am home fresh from a trip to Asheville with my girlfriends! We had so much fun, and even took some great portraits for a few people while we were in town (I’ll share those when I’ve finished editing them). Now I feel refreshed and ready for work. I hopped right back in with a newborn session this morning, and now I’m working on catching up on the blog!

Baby Graham | RALEIGH NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Well, the weather in Raleigh is really warming up this week! And all of the beautiful trees are in bloom outside – one of my favorite times of the year. I had a little time off last week for spring break with my kids, and now I’m getting back to my picture-taking, editing, and blogging!

This is newborn Graham, whom I met at just 5 days old. I can’t even tell you how much I enjoy having handsome baby boys in my studio. Especially sweet, sleepy ones! Graham’s Mommy came to me through a referral from an out of town photographer whom I really admire, so I was completely touched by the referral. 🙂 I had such a fun session with Graham – lots of set-ups and sweet poses. He slept like a champ for me and made my job nice and easy.

Baby Evelyn | RALEIGH NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

My kids are on spring break this week and, by the grace of God, I’ve managed to also be on vacation with them this week!! It’s really hard to plan that correctly as a newborn photographer – you just never know when these babies will arrive! 🙂 But it appears as though I’ve managed to be in the clear this week! So excited! My little men and I have been up to a lot of fun! And I’m also hoping to continue to catch up on some of my blogging this week. First up is sweet baby Evelyn!

Little Evelyn was 7 days old on the day of her newborn session. I had spoken to her Mommy before the session and the only thing she said she wanted during the session was neutrals. And THAT, I could deliver. No shortage of cream blankets in this studio, if you hadn’t noticed. 🙂 So we stuck with the browns and creams, and some soft pinks. Evelyn is a happy little baby, and her session went nice and smoothly. Tons of happy, open-eyed shots, lots of close-ups of the toes and her sweet little face, and we even put her in the ‘nest’, as her Daddy called it. I was blessed to have this sweet little girl in my studio for a few hours, and I love how her newborn photos came out!
