Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s greatest joys. Those first few weeks pass quickly, making newborn photography a wonderful way to preserve memories that will last a lifetime.

Baby Violet’s newborn portrait session was filled with sweet smiles, beautiful family moments, and adorable expressions. She was a dream to photograph from beginning to end.

A Special Purple Theme

Before the session, Violet’s mom requested touches of purple to celebrate her daughter’s beautiful name.

The soft purple accents added just the right amount of color while keeping the focus on Baby Violet. The result was a timeless collection of portraits that felt personal and elegant.

Small details like these help make every newborn session unique.

A Happy Baby from the Start

Every newborn is different, and that’s one of the things I love most about my job.

Some babies sleep through their entire session. Others stay awake and love to look around.

Violet gave us the best of both worlds.

She was calm, relaxed, and incredibly cooperative. Even better, she shared so many sweet smiles and precious expressions throughout the session. Every time I thought we had captured my favorite image, she gave us another adorable look.

Those genuine expressions are impossible to recreate, which makes them even more special.

Beautiful Family Memories

Family portraits are always one of the most meaningful parts of a newborn session.

Parents often tell me these are the photographs they treasure most because they capture the love and excitement of welcoming a new baby.

My favorite image from Violet’s gallery is a family portrait where Mom kisses her gently on the cheek while Violet looks toward the camera with the biggest smile.

It’s a simple moment, but it says everything about this beautiful new chapter in their lives.

So Many Favorites

Most newborn galleries include a carefully selected collection of images.

However, Violet’s session produced so many wonderful portraits that choosing favorites became almost impossible.

Between her sweet smiles, peaceful poses, family portraits, and tiny newborn details, there were simply too many beautiful photographs to leave out.

Because of that, her family received more images than the standard gallery. I wanted them to enjoy every special memory we created together.
