Today my oldest son, Dylan, turns five. It’s a bittersweet day for me. I love this little man SO MUCH, and it hurts my heart that he’s growing up. He’s so sweet and sensitive, and by far the funniest kid I know! I’m so impressed by him and proud of him. I love him more than life itself! Happy birthday, Dylan!

The ‘S’ Kids | Raleigh and Wake Forest Child Photographer

Sorry it’s been so quiet around here lately! My family and I made the big move into our new home a couple of weeks ago. AND, we got picked to film an episode of House Hunters for HGTV! Talk about a whirlwind month this has been. We had so much fun with the first round of filming, and they’ll be back next week to finish up. Our house is coming together and we’re getting pretty organized and settled in. My NEW STUDIO space is completely amazing, and I have a few little things to finish up before it’s ‘ready’! I’ll be sure to post pics when I have everything finished!

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing three ‘big’ kids — which is rare for me! And wow, what a great time we had. These kids are gorgeous and clearly enjoy each other’s company! Here’s a few of my favorites from their session!

Tyson | Raleigh Durham Baby Photography

Tyson’s sweet parents came to me to document this great age – THREE MONTHS! He is such an adorable, easygoing little guy… and quite well dressed! His head of hair is just stunning and he’s full of great expressions. I truly enjoyed this session and meeting this amazing family!

I was SO incredibly excited when Tyson decide to roll over for the FIRST TIME EVER during our session. I’d say he’s quite a smart baby to wait and do this in front of a photographer!! Here it is:
