I have a sweet little boy to share with you today. He has the best head of hair! I so enjoyed my time posing him and giving him some snuggles – this was pre-COVID of course! 🙂 He was absolutely stunning on some darker colors. The green was just gorgeous with his skin tone, as well as the dark blue, which ended up being my favorite. So much variety in his Raleigh newborn photo session, and just too many favorites!

Sweet baby boy Nico is next up on the blog! Gosh, I love the name, Nico! He is absolutely adorable and precious and photographed so perfectly in my newborn photo studio. I adored little Nico and his family. He was a fresh seven days old when I met him and got to pose him. We did so many cute baby poses, and he was so good and sleepy – and happy!

The full sessions offer more variety on poses and props, as well as including any older siblings and parents in some of the photos. If your budget is a little smaller, you may prefer a mini newborn session, which also takes place in my professional photo studio in Wake Forest, NC. We’ll do several poses, as well as some of those classic close-up shots of fingers and toes, and even a prop shot or two! We can customize these photo sessions based on what you want! Wake Forest and Rolesville Newborn Photography | Baby Charlie

I’m back with another beautiful baby girl! My blog has been on the back burner lately after a whirlwind Christmas, New Year’s, snow storms, photo sessions, kid’s sports ramping back up, and general life stuff. I’ve been shooting a ton and have so many beautiful newborns that need to be in the spotlight here on the blog.

I loved having the opportunity to meet baby Charlie a few months ago. Her name is just about as cute as she is. I just love it! She had beautiful creamy skin, and just the right amount of chub to make her such a pretty baby! She came into my studio at nine days old, and was just so perfect to pose. Her parents were so excited and had that glow and awe that first time parents do. They adore her so much.

I loved my time with this family, and loved snuggling and posing baby Charlie. Here’s a little sample of what her session gallery looked like!

Raleigh and Wake Forest Family Photography Mini Sessions

This fall I offered family mini photo sessions again! As you all know, my primary focus is usually on newborn baby photography, however I have on occasion offered some family session events from time to time. This fall felt like a good time to get back to that! I held the mini sessions at a gorgeous park in Raleigh, and the weather, the families, and the scenery were all amazing.

My family mini sessions are great for an updated family photo, some updated shots of your children, holiday card photos, or even as a Baby’s First Year session. They typically result in 15-20 digital files, plus black and white versions as well. They’re short and sweet, and as simple as can be!

This first family I want to share with you came to my mini session event the last time I held them. This year they brought along the grandparents, as well as their new dog. Their family portraits turned out so spectacular, I just love them!

And this next family just reminds me so much of my own family with their three boys. I just saw them last winter for the youngest child’s newborn portrait session. I enjoyed my time catching up with them, and seeing how blessed their lives are!

Raleigh Baby Photography | Newborn Baby Avery

I’m happy to feature the precious baby Avery on my blog this week! Her family brought her into my Raleigh/Wake Forest newborn photography studio when she was 3 weeks old, and boy was she a sweetie! She slept so peacefully, and she was a stunningly beautiful little baby. Her big brother, Jake, was super cute with Avery, and we got an especially adorable photo of him giving her a kiss on the head, as you’ll see below. Avery’s mom and dad requested family photos too, which are included in all of my “full” newborn sessions, and I think they’re absolutely beautiful. Just think what a treasure these memories will be for Avery and Jake when they’re older!

Avery’s Mama had a great idea to bring in her wedding dress to incorporate into the newborn photo session, and I’m so glad she brought it along to the studio! I took some adorable photos with Avery surrounded by the dress – you’ll see it below in the shot where Avery is wearing the little crown. So precious and special!

Newborn Photographer Raleigh NC | Baby Mia

I have a beautiful newborn baby girl to share on the blog today. This is little Mia… don’t you love her name? Mia’s parents opted for my newborn mini photo session, which is roughly one hour of shooting, and gives us plenty of time to capture everything precious and cute about a newborn. These shortened photo sessions permit us to capture about 15 or so photos, sometimes more depending on how sleepy and easy to pose the baby is. The minis give us time for baby’s photos only, so if you’re looking for family or sibling photos, you’ll have to upgrade to the full session. The minis are great for those on a budget too, or for those who enjoy digital files from their sessions, since these mini sessions include the digital files. Baby Mia was super sleepy and sweet for me. She looks like a precious little angel snuggled up in my tiny baby bed. I just love that bed photo! Wake Forest Newborn Baby Photographer | Baby Easton

I’ve had a long string of returning clients in the last few months, and I’ve loved it! So many people having a second or third baby, and bringing them in to see me. I LOVE seeing these families again, and seeing how much their older babies have grown and changed. And of course, it’s such a huge honor for me that they loved their first baby photo session so much that they’re choosing to come back to me at my Wake Forest newborn photo studio. Huge, HUGE honor that makes me so thrilled!

Newborn Easton is the second baby boy for this family (I wonder if they’ll have a third!!). Big brother is almost two, and it’s been since his newborn session that I’ve seen him. They’re both beautiful boys! This mom requested navy blue for their Wake Forest newborn photography session, so of course I had fun pulling out lots of navy. And I used my very highly requested heart-shaped bucket for this session, which turned out to be such a stunning setup. We did lots of cute sibling shots, adorable family photos, and took a lot of pictures of cute little Easton alone too. So much variety! Loved this session!

Raleigh Baby Photographer | Baby Tate

I was so excited for this sweet baby boy to be born! Little Tate is the member of a lovely and beautiful family. I absolutely adore his big brother, MJ, and was so blessed to be MJ’s baby photographer for his Raleigh newborn photo session, as well as for his milestone photo sessions at ages 6 months and one year. So I’ve loved getting to know this family and their adorable babies. I was thrilled when I found out they were expecting again, and was so happy to do another newborn photo session for them! I couldn’t wait to see them again, and of course the sibling photos from this session were just SO sweet and beautiful. Big brother MJ is smitten with his new baby brother!

For baby Tate’s photo session, we decided to use a lot of blues and greys, and also some cream. The perfect colors for baby boy photo sessions, in my opinion! The photo of him in the blue bucket is one of my favorites. And the newborn photo of him all curled up sweet on the pillow is right up there among my favorites too. So many great shots from this session. I can’t wait to see Tate grow up! He’ll be back to see me pretty soon for his six month photos, and I know he’ll have already changed so much!

Raleigh Newborn Photographer | Baby Girl Carsyn

I have a very special newborn baby that I am featuring today! Sweet little girl Carsyn was born to a lovely family who I’ve been working with for a long time! I’ve photographed all three of this family’s babies, from each of their Raleigh newborn photo sessions all the way up through each of their Baby’s First Year photo sessions. So we’ve been together quite a lot, and I am always so thrilled and honored that they choose me again and again to capture their baby’s memories! It means so much to me to be their Raleigh newborn photographer of choice!

Carsyn is an absolutely stunning baby girl! Amazing cheeks, amazing skin, the perfect amount of chub… everything about this newborn is perfection! Her family just adores her, and of course I did too. She strongly preferred back poses (every baby is different and my sessions are all centered on what is best for each baby), so I put some adorable outfits and wraps on her, and she loved sleeping in one of my baby beds. She was a perfectly sweet little angel. And of course I loved seeing her big brother and sister and witnessing their love for their new baby sister!

A big thank you to this family for choosing me to be your Raleigh newborn photographer! Can’t wait to see them all again in a few months for Carsyn’s six-month photo session in my baby studio!

Wake Forest Baby Photography | Baby Asher

Next up on the blog is adorable baby Asher’s newborn portraits!

I was soooo excited to see this family AGAIN! This is their second baby, and I photographed their first baby several years back. They’ve moved all the way to Virginia, but drove back down to Raleigh with a seven-day-old baby just to get their newborn portraits done with me! I was thrilled they came back so far just for me! I know it can be hard to travel with a baby, so Mom is my hero! And big brother has grown sooooo much since I last saw him when he was an itty bitty newborn. I really love seeing my babies as they get bigger.

Now onto Asher’s baby photography! Asher is such a great name choice, in my opinion. I think it suits him! He was so very cute and snuggly. And big brother was so cooperative and happy to hold and cuddle his baby brother. This newborn session couldn’t have gone better! So many great poses, and I think my favorite shot was the “froggy” pose where Asher gave the hilarious little smirk (froggy is the name for the pose where the baby’s head is propped up in its hands). But of course it’s hard to pick just one, because they’re all adorable photos of baby Asher. Now I just have to hope this awesome family has baby number three and comes back down to my Wake Forest baby studio for another round! 🙂
