Sweet little Lakelyn’s mama called me in need of a Raleigh baby’s first year photographer. I just met Lakelyn a few months back for her newborn photo session. And now it was time for a three month photo session for her! Lakelyn was still so itty bitty at three months old. My little newborn hats still fit her, and she fit in my little baskets still too!

Just look how sweet this little girl is! She was so good, and I love seeing her grow and getting a glimpse into her little personality too! And of course it was great to see and catch up with Lakelyn’s mommy again too.

Raleigh Maternity and Baby Photographer

The next session I have to share today is with little Cecilia. Her mommy is another Raleigh maternity and baby photographer, and so I was of course very honored that she chose me to photograph her own sweet baby! It says a lot when other photographers choose you to capture their own families and the special moments in their lives. I was really thrilled!

This newborn photo session was one of my mini sessions, which is one hour in length. And Cecilia’s parents decided that instead of my traditional mini session with baby photos only, they wanted just family photos during our one-hour together. So we did this session filled with just family and sibling shots.

Cecilia was so precious, with the most amazing cheeks! And she had such a proud big brother who was so sweet and patient with her. This family really adores baby Cecilia, and I’m thrilled to have witnessed it and been able to capture this sweet stage in their lives.

Beautiful Raleigh Newborn Photography Session

I’m happy to share Raleigh newborn baby girl Ainara’s photo session with you all today! She has such a unique name, and I love it. Her mom and dad requested neutrals and yellows for her, so you’ll see a lot of that below. She was just such a beautiful baby. She was awake for a good while at the beginning of her session, so I opted for some swaddle shots of her until she finally fell asleep. Then she let me pose her very sweetly, and I just love the taco pose and the pose with her little toes peeking out. I picked out some of my favorites from her Raleigh newborn photography session, and have them below for your viewing pleasure!

COVID Precautions in my Newborn Studio

The number one question I get lately is regarding COVID protocol in my studio, and I want to continue addressing this on my blog to give everyone current information! In my Raleigh newborn photography studio, all props, equipment and seating areas are disinfected in between each baby photo session. I clean my hands very frequently during sessions (I go through a lot of hand sanitizer!). I also wear a mask during newborn photo sessions to keep from spreading germs. And most importantly, I’m covid vaccinated! If you have any further questions or need accommodations, please reach out!

Raleigh Baby Photographer | Baby Girl

Raleigh Baby Photographer

I’m sharing a baby girl today that is super stunning! The photos almost speak for themselves, but she is just perfect in every way. The hair, the lashes, the beautiful skin… all perfect! This family opted for my Keepsake newborn session package. The keepsake package allows for a couple of family photos, as well as some photos of baby alone. We usually end up with roughly 20 photos, and some black and whites are always included as well. This family wanted me to use my baby bed prop (it’s been requested so much lately!), and preferred a lot of props over very many blanket shots. So we got a beautiful variety, and I adore all of the photos! The family shots are so special, and I think her parents will treasure these. She was such a cooperative and happy little girl. I feel so lucky that this family chose me to capture these memories!

Raleigh’s Best Baby Photographer | Baby Blythe

I’m happy to show off sweet baby Blythe to you all! She’s a beautiful baby with a beautiful name!

I met Blythe’s parents years back when I did maternity photos when they were expecting their first baby. And then I had the pleasure of having them in my Raleigh newborn photography studio when they delivered their first baby, Landis. I was so excited for them to be having another baby girl! And so excited to meet baby Blythe. She looks a lot like her big sister, and I could feel the love between the two of them. Landis held baby Blythe so sweetly and was super adoring of her. It was really touching to see.

Blythe’s newborn photo session was just amazing. She posed so beautifully, and all of my little hats and headbands looked adorable on her. I loved her on the pink and cream, and especially in my little baby bed. So many favorites from this Raleigh newborn session!

This ADORABLE baby girl is Aashi. She is so stunning! Her amazing head of hair and thick, long eyelashes are all to die for! I could have snuggled her for days!! She’s such a gem, and it was my absolute pleasure to welcome her into my Raleigh newborn photo studio when she was 15 days old.

I did Aashi’s Raleigh Durham baby photo session around Christmas time in 2019 (I’m a wee bit behind on blogging!). So you’ll see below some of the Christmas-themed photos I took during her newborn photography session in December. Aashi’s mommy wanted lots of pink, but also some Christmas-themed shots for their holiday cards. Since the weather in Raleigh is getting a little cooler now, maybe these photos will get us in the Christmas spirit! 🙂

Baby Davis | RALEIGH NC BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I want you all to meet the absolutely precious baby Davis, who came to meet me for his newborn portraits at 14 days old. I love his name so much, and he has the most beautiful creamy soft skin! To die for! Davis has an adorable big brother named Treve, and we got some amazing photos of the two of them together. They are an adorable pair together – this family is very blessed! Baby Emma | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

The very sweet little Emma is next up on the blog! She came for her newborn photo session at a perfect 2 weeks old, and she was wonderful and sleepy! I was so excited to see Emma’s family again after photographing maternity portraits for them in 2015, as well as newborn photos for their first baby that fall. You may remember the cute baby Joseph, and now they have a sweet little girl to round out their family! For Joseph’s newborn portraits, we used my little blue bed, and so we pulled it out again for little Emma. I think it turned out SO cute! Baby Ivy | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

This next little lady has the most beautiful name, Ivy. She came to see me for her Raleigh newborn photo session when she was three weeks old. She was born back in November, and her parents asked for some Christmas set-ups, so we did a few really cute ones. I just loved baby Ivy in front of the twinkly lights backdrop and between the tiny Christmas trees. She was absolutely perfect and had a beautiful head of hair. Everything I put on her looked gorgeous on her! She is a stunning baby girl! Here are my favorites!

Baby Declan | RALEIGH WAKE FOREST NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

I have such a special session to share with you all today. And I’m long overdue in posting it! This little guy is baby Declan, and he’s the son of a sweet friend of mine, who is also a photographer. I was lucky enough to photograph her older daughter, Arden, and you all may have seen some of the many fun photo shoots we did with Arden back during her first year. Well, now they’ve added a baby boy to their family and my gosh, he’s precious!! We decided to do some “extras” for Declan’s shoot, and we added an outdoor session onto the regular in-studio newborn session. And as you can see, we did these last summer (I did say I was behind on blogging, right?!), and the warm temperatures were perfect for Declan to be posed in all these cute photos outdoors! We had so much fun, and he was a very sleepy, willing participant! Some of these outdoor shots are among my most favorite photos ever. Here is a peek at Declan’s newborn session!
