**I just wanted to start out with a scheduling note — I have one session left to shoot before my maternity leave starts.  I’ll be out for a few months with my new little one (can’t wait!).  I’m currently accepting sessions for October 2014 and later.  If you’re expecting this fall, please contact me soon, as I’ll be coming back to a lighter schedule than normal so I can spend a little extra time with my new baby.  I already have several October bookings, so I only have a small amount of space left.  November and December will likely book up fast too, so please contact me soon!  The best way to reach me is e-mail — melissadevoephotography@gmail.com

This sweet little boy was one of my favorite newborn sessions this past spring.  This is baby Christopher at 12 days old!  He had the most perfect skin and hair, and was so sleepy and perfect for me!  He made my job easy!  Here are a few of my favorite photos from his session!

Lucky me — two baby girls in the studio in a row!  I loved it!  Little Riley came in at three weeks old for her session and she was AMAZING – beautiful, tiny, sleepy, and perfect.  It was one of those sessions where I loved every single picture I took.  But you can probably tell that by the large over-share below.  🙂  How precious is she!?!

And I’m excited to report that June is my last month of shooting before my maternity leave starts.  I’m 34 weeks pregnant right now, and will be finishing up shooting in the next 2ish weeks (if my scheduled babies come on time!), and then I’ll spend the rest of June finishing all of my editing, fulfilling orders, etc. etc.  Then my family and I will be welcoming baby boy number 3 in early July.  We’re ecstatic.  The days seem to be flying by, yet going so slow all at the same time — all you mommies know how that is!  🙂  I’ll be returning from maternity leave in October with a limited work schedule, so if you’re pregnant and due in the fall, be sure to book soon before space is gone.

This winter and spring I’ve had SO many newborn boys in the studio, so it makes me so super excited to pull out all the girly props when I get a baby girl!  This sweet little baby girl is Harper.  She was so cute in all the pinks, and especially in a cute little baby skirt I’d just purchased for her session.  Also, you’ll notice my new curved bench in one of the photos below — I have to brag on my talented husband who made that for me.  He’s handy to have around!  🙂  Enjoy these photos of Harper — I sooooo loved having her come to be photographed!!!

This sweet little boy is baby Dylan — I photographed two newborns named Dylan within just a week of each other!  And of course I have my own little boy named Dylan, so I’m partial to that name myself.  🙂  This Dylan was 12 days old for his session and was so perfect and sweet.  I think my favorite shots of him were the ones on the blue flokati rug — just snug as a bug.  Here’s a whole lot of cuteness!

Just a quick scheduling note — for those who don’t already know, my third baby is due in early July!  So I’ll be starting maternity leave at the end of June, and returning to shooting sometime in September.  My months of April and June are already booked up.  May is pretty full, but I may be able to take one more newborn session.  Just contact me QUICK!  🙂

This sweet little guy I want to share with you all today is baby boy Dylan.  This is the second baby boy I’ve photographed for this family!  His older brother came to me a few years ago for his newborn photos, and I was so excited when his Mom called and asked me to photograph baby #2!!  I had a great time with their whole family in the studio, even Grandma!  And big brother cooperated for a photo as well!  Here are a couple photos of the incredibly sweet little Dylan!

This adorable little guy, Brody, was another of my January babies from earlier this year.  I’m finally trying to make some progress on my blogging!  🙂  It was a super busy January/February for me, so it’s been quite a challenge to get all caught up!  This little cutie came to his session with a fan club – not only his parents but his adoring grandparents as well.  And he did NOT disappoint for his first photo session.  He let us do all sorts of cute set-ups, as well as one with his Daddy’s guitars.  I had a lot of favorite pictures from this session, as you’ll see below!  🙂

This little guy is baby Grayson who came into the studio for his first photo session at just five days new!  He was born at over nine pounds and Mom wanted him in for his session just as early as possible before he got too big to curl up into cute poses.  And he cooperated absolutely nicely for me!  His photos are just gorgeous!  And thank goodness he’s a part of my Baby’s First Year session package, so you’ll be seeing a good bit more of Grayson this year on the blog.  I can’t wait!

Sweet little girl Charlotte came to the studio to see me at 11 days old.  I had a great time working with her.  She looked adorable in every color I put on her.  I love snuggling baby girls and getting out all the pinks and purples!  I’ve had quite a streak of baby boys this year, so I was excited to welcome a baby girl into the studio this time.  This one was super fun for me!  🙂
