Baby Dylan | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Just a quick scheduling note — for those who don’t already know, my third baby is due in early July! So I’ll be starting maternity leave at the end of June, and returning to shooting sometime in September. My months of April and June are already booked up. This sweet little guy I want to share with you all today is baby boy Dylan. This is the second baby boy I’ve photographed for this family! His older brother came to me a few years ago for his newborn photos, and I was so excited when his Mom called and asked me to photograph baby #2!! I had a great time with their whole family in the studio, even Grandma! And big brother cooperated for a photo as well! Here are a couple photos of the incredibly sweet little Dylan!

Morgan’s Maternity Photos | RALEIGH DURHAM NC MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

A few months ago I got together with my friend Morgan for a “fun” maternity session for her. She was expecting her first baby in April (who has since been born, yay!). We met at a special place to specifically do maternity silhouette photos for her. She brought along her dog, Roxy, and her husband Mike. And we were lucky to have a completely gorgeous sunset that evening, complete with all sorts of pinks and purples. It was just perfect! I took a TON of pictures, but here’s a few of my absolute favorites! 🙂

Isabella’s 6-Month Portraits | RALEIGH DURHAM NC BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Little Isabella came into the studio a few months ago for her 6-month portraits! We’d had to re-schedule twice due to snowstorms, which is sooo rare for us in North Carolina! I’m so glad that crazy winter is behind us. Isabella is a part of my Baby’s First Year program, so we saw her super cute newborn portraits back in August of last year. And of course you’ll get to see her 1-year photos this summer too! She is just so unbelievably adorable and smiley. We did tons of set-ups in the studio for her and everything was just so cute!

BABY BRODY | RALEIGH NC NEWBORN BABY INFANT PHOTOGRAPHER

This adorable little guy, Brody, was another of my January babies from earlier this year. I’m finally trying to make some progress on my blogging! 🙂 It was a super busy January/February for me, so it’s been quite a challenge to get all caught up! This little cutie came to his session with a fan club – not only his parents but his adoring grandparents as well. And he did NOT disappoint for his first photo session. He let us do all sorts of cute set-ups, as well as one with his Daddy’s guitars. I had a lot of favorite pictures from this session, as you’ll see below! 🙂

Shannon’s Maternity Session | RALEIGH NC MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

I met Shannon and Jeff for their maternity session back in January. We were fortunate to have great NC warm weather (unlike this week in March, ha!). They were anxiously awaiting their first baby – a boy. Well, he’s since been born, and we just had their newborn session a few weeks ago. BABY GRAYSON | RALEIGH NEWBORN BABY INFANT PHOTOGRAPHER

This little guy is baby Grayson who came into the studio for his first photo session at just five days new! He was born at over nine pounds and Mom wanted him in for his session just as early as possible before he got too big to curl up into cute poses. And he cooperated absolutely nicely for me! His photos are just gorgeous! And thank goodness he’s a part of my Baby’s First Year session package, so you’ll be seeing a good bit more of Grayson this year on the blog. I can’t wait!

BABY CHARLOTTE | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Sweet little girl Charlotte came to the studio to see me at 11 days old. I had a great time working with her. She looked adorable in every color I put on her. I love snuggling baby girls and getting out all the pinks and purples! I’ve had quite a streak of baby boys this year, so I was excited to welcome a baby girl into the studio this time. This one was super fun for me! 🙂

ALEXANDRIA | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Every once in a while I can squeeze in a last-minute booking. Alexandria’s mom contacted me saying how upset she was that she didn’t have newborn photos done when Alexandria was born. I happened to have an opening that week and got Alexandria into my studio at 11 weeks old. I knew we wouldn’t have much luck getting her sleeping and posed like a true newborn session, but she cooperated more than expected!! 🙂 She is a sweet little angel, and I’m so glad her Mom has some photos to remember her at this tiny age.
