Little Anna had just turned one when she came to my studio for her cake smash. She was so adorable in her little skirt, and her Mommy brought Anna’s favorite rocking chair to incorporate into the setup. Anna took a little while to get into it, but then she did take some big bites of her cake, much to our delight! 🙂 Here’s a little peek at her cake smash session!

BABY BENJAMIN | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST BABY INFANT PHOTOGRAPHER

Little baby Benjamin was another of my 2013 babies, born in December in time for Christmas! He’s the third child for this family, but the first boy, which was very exciting! His parents are great friends of mine, so this session was highly anticipated by all of us. Benjamin didn’t disappoint. He’s a chunky, cute little thing, and I just loved curling him up and photographing all that chub. And I mean that in the best way possible. He is ADORABLE! 🙂

BABY REED | RALEIGH DURHAM WAKE FOREST BABY INFANT PHOTOGRAPHER

Baby Reed was another of my 2013 babies who participated in my Mommy/Baby package. His Mommy’s maternity session was back in the fall and on the blog, here. He came into the studio at three weeks old for his session. Such a major cutie!

BABY EDUARDO | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY INFANT PHOTOGRAPHER

Little guy Eduardo was born to the beautiful Grayce, whose maternity photos you saw on the blog back in November. She had her sweet little boy and brought him into the studio all the way from Fayetteville at just 11 days old! We did a shot with a teeny little Army hat for his Daddy. Loved getting to spend time with this family again!

The sweet little Lydia came to me at 7 days old for her first photo session! I had met her lovely parents and older sister at their maternity session back in the fall, here. A Look at 2013 | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Another year comes to a close! 2013 was really great for this business of mine. I met so many new people this year and snuggled some adorable babies.

This year I had 73 sessions!!! 43 newborns, 15 Baby’s First Year sessions, 12 maternity sessions, and 2 older kid’s sessions. I loved every minute, thank you all so much for supporting me and choosing me as your photographer. I’m so lucky. 🙂

Merry Christmas 2013 | RALEIGH DURHAM NC NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Merry Christmas everyone! I wanted to write a quick post to share a few things with all of my lovely clients. First is my annual Christmas tree photo with my two kids. I’ve been taking this photo each Christmas for the past three years and I love seeing how much they change each year. Here is this year’s photo:

The second bit of news I wanted to share is that I’m pregnant!!! If you have REALLY good eyes you may have noticed the ultrasound picture nestled into this year’s tree. So this means next year I’ll have another pajama’d kiddo in the photo. I’ll really have my work cut out for me then! 🙂 Baby #3 is expected this summer. We’re ecstatic!!

Tate | RALEIGH DURHAM NC BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

Cutie little Tate turned one! He is the last of my October sessions – now to just get through blogging November and December. 😉 I was thrilled to meet up with Tate and his SUPER sweet family again for his one year photos. Tate is such a little ham – I could have brought him right home with me!! Looking forward to seeing him again next year!
