I just loved taking family photos for this family – they are one of the nicest, sweetest families! And these kids are adorable! We spent most of the session looking for monkeys in trees and finding cool sticks. Thanks for the fun, guys! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
Well, you know I can’t take a beach vacation without taking a LOT of pictures. Some of you have probably viewed my pictures on Facebook and other places already, but I also really want to share with everyone else.
It was my baby’s first time at the beach. He spent a lot of time examining the sand… and eating some too.

Those of you who have been to the Outer Banks have surely heard of the wild horses that often roam the beaches in Corolla. Fortunately, we saw them. What a gorgeous, gorgeous sight!
The sand dunes at Jockey’s Ridge State Park are amazing and a great spot for photos. We went and watched the sunset. BEAUTIFUL!

This next one I pulled over on the side of the road to get out and take the picture. There were tons of interesting farms and things along the way. If I’d have stopped as often as I wanted, I’d have never made it home.
I’m already wanting to go back!
I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing these sweet little boys in Raleigh this past weekend. I’ve known this family for a while, and I was honored that they asked me to do their family pictures!
We had such a good time and the evening light was fantastic. Jacob is two and did a great job smiling for me once I learned the secret code for smile – “show your teeth!” Little Tyler is just four months old and he seemed like he’d rather nap than look at the camera. In fact, he fell right asleep while I was trying to take his picture. Oh, the life of a baby!

This weekend I had some fun photographing the “H” family in Wake Forest, NC. Lillian became a big sister just eight weeks ago when little Henry was born. He was such a great little boy and the two of them seem to get along so well. They’re a fabulous family!

I just love getting to photograph little girls! And these two are just the cutest. Autumn is two (almost three) and little Morgan is 15 months. They have the most gorgeous blond hair and are dressed fabulously. How cute are the green and pink dresses? Bright colors always photograph well – Mom picked the perfect outfits for them! Meet Hunter. He’s 9 months old and has the most amazing eyes! I just can’t get over how beautiful they are. He’s SO photogenic. He and his family were such a pleasure to photograph. We did the session at the Children’s Garden in Columbia. What a unique little place!
The G’s are such an awesome family. Ashley’s 2.5 years old and baby Emma’s just one month. They’re adorable and we had so much fun at our shoot! Ashley was a complete ham and loved the camera. Thanks for the fun, guys!
I finally got my family out for some pictures! We had an interesting time… between keeping Chase happy and making sure Dylan didn’t run away. Poor little Dylan’s face was beet red by the end of our session – he was having so much fun running around!
