Learning | Raleigh Wake Forest Newborn Baby Photographer

I am personally the type of person who loves to learn, especially when it comes to things I’m passionate about. Working in an industry where styles and trends are constantly changing, I made a decision some time ago to invest in my professional growth as much as I could. Once or twice a year I’ve been traveling the country to be taught by the photography industry’s very best. Last month I traveled to Omaha to meet the industry leaders in newborn photography. They were amazing to watch and learn from and I came away with new tips and tricks to take my newborn photography to a whole new level.

As many of you know, earlier this year I decided to specialize in newborn and baby photography. I moved away from weddings completely, and now only take a very limited number of family sessions. Newborn photography is what speaks to me, and it’s what I strive to excel at. I love everything about it. And with my new knowledge, I hope to continue to provide beautiful portraits and snuggle with your beautiful babies! Below is a sampling of some photos I took during my trip – I met three gorgeous brand new baby girls and there were some amazing set-ups!

Beau | Raleigh Wake Forest Newborn Baby Photographer

Sweet little Beau is the baby brother to my little friend Palmer. He was 15 days old on the day of his session and soooo super laid back. I just adore this family and am so excited they’re a part of my Baby’s First Year Plan so I get to see Beau grow up this year!

This next photo was made extra special by the antique scale. Big brother Palmer was photographed in it as a newborn!

Jaden and Mason | Raleigh Wake Forest Newborn Baby Twins Photographer

Twin baby boys Jaden and Mason were a delight to meet and photograph. Twins can often be a challenge to both get sleeping and posed, but these boys were absolutely wonderful. I adored my morning spent with them!

Campbell | Raleigh Durham Newborn Baby Photographer
