Up next on the blog is a beautiful baby girl’s Franklinton newborn photo session, with lots of pink! This baby girl was so precious and posed so sweetly. Her parents followed the newborn photo session prep guide that’s sent out before every photo session. It’s so important to follow Melissa’s prep instructions in order to arrive with a sleepy and calm baby, so we can achieve all of the cute poses! As you’ll see in the prep guide, baby needs to be kept awake for about an hour before you leave for the photo session. There are plenty of ways to do this, which include giving baby a bath, get baby undressed down to her diaper, and play/talk to baby to stimulate her. Then give your baby a full feeding just prior to leaving the house. You can let baby fall asleep in their carseat while you drive, and then your baby arrives full and sleepy so we can get started with the posing right away! It works like a charm.
